Sipraya Original Thai Coffee Since 1947
Going the Extra Mile for Quality
“It’s challenging, risky, and involves navigating deep ravines and mountains, as our guides have pointed out. Yet, we persist, because the quality of our coffee and tea goes beyond just the production in midstream. We climb mountains to reach the headwaters, visiting the tea and coffee farms of our farmers. We share our knowledge with them on how to plant, harvest, and preserve the crops post-harvest to ensure the highest quality. When the quality is high, farmers are not oppressed by middlemen. We’ve supported each other this way for over 73 years, like orchids relying on large trees for support. It’s a sustainability filled with smiles.”

History of Mangkonbin: The Original Sipraya Coffee
From the noble Sipraya Road, our coffee has expanded throughout Siam. We began crafting Thai coffee and tea in 1947, around 73 years ago. Our first store was located in Soi Jinda Tawil, Sipraya Road, Bang Rak. The area got its name from four nobles, each titled Phaya, who purchased the land together and presented it to King Chulalongkorn, who graciously named it “Sipraya Road.” In those days, our Thai coffee and tea became renowned, celebrated alongside many iconic actors.
Handmade with Artistic Precision
Every step of our coffee and tea production is done by hand, akin to a work of art. Every drop of Mangkonbin Thai coffee and tea you drink is a meticulous craft, using only fresh coffee beans and premium tea leaves from high-altitude farms. These farms boast fertile soil, cool rainwater, and pure air. The beans are traditionally roasted in iron pans with hot rock sugar, maintaining our 100% traditional method.
A Labor of Love
This production method is undeniably complex, labor-intensive, and scorching hot, requiring the strength of robust men. Yet, we continue this method to preserve the unique taste, aroma, and richness that define our brand. We strive to provide you with the best of true, original Sipraya Thai coffee and tea.
